SINGLE

DIFFERENT WAYS

Gearing up for the release of their new project expected later this year, UK R&B group No Guidnce returns with their first new single of the year, “Different Ways,” available to stream now on all digital platforms via The OrchardLISTEN HERE // WATCH VIDEO HERE.

Crafted in Los Angeles and produced by chart-topping, GRAMMY Award-nominated hitmaker Bernard “HARV” Harvey (Justin Bieber, Normani, Summer Walker), the heartfelt record marks the quartet’s first ballad, showcasing a vulnerable new side of the London-based boyband who last year supported the likes of SZA and Mahalia on tour and received acclaim from Rolling Stone, Billboard, The New York Times, Complex, and more.

Another valiant display of the sheer volume of their abilities, new offering “Different Ways” comes fresh off 2024 releases “Nostalgic” and “Around Me.” Its sombre beginnings are highlighted in the deliberately wide piano keys evoking sadness and introspection. Adjacent to a Ryan Tedder ballad of the 10s, it diligently demonstrates wisdom and maturity beyond their early 20s composition — a prowess that comes from wholehearted procuring of talent and growth.

Speaking on the new record, No Guidnce shares, “We wrote ‘Different Ways’ about the experience of an ex partner moving on a lot faster than you after a relationship, and how that can be hard to deal and cope with. This record marks a lot of firsts for us – it is our first ballad that we’ve successfully written together. We always hoped to write one but it never landed until one of the last writing sessions we had in LA last summer. We love singing this song as it gives us an opportunity to really showcase our raw voices in a new way, not heard on anything we’ve dropped before. This one feels really special to us and we hope that people connect with it like we do!”

With the release of “Different Ways,” the quartet once again soar to new heights, merging melodies reminiscent of the golden era of R&B with addictive, pop hooks to create another euphoric anthem to add to their already impressive catalogue.
